SOLENA GROUP INC: Privileged Technology and Business Partner of the World
Sports Alliance International Business Consortium (WSAIBC) in the sector of
Biomass-to-Energy (BTE).


WASHINGTON, DC, Jan 08, 2008 -- SOLENA GROUP Inc., a Global Bio-Energy and
Bio-Fuels production company, is pleased to announce it has entered into a public-private
partnership (PPPs) agreement with the Intergovernmental Organization - World Sports
Alliance (WSA) to build and operate renewable green power plants which will generate
income for the development of sport and youth centers in more than 22 Countries in
Africa and Latin America. For the life of the project, within the participating WSA
Member States, Solena bio-energy plants will be granted a guaranteed feedstock supply,
a cost free permitted site, full duty and income tax exemptions and guaranteed Power
Purchase Agreements starting at a base price of 15¢ per kWh.
Solena Group in its role as the Lead Private Technology and Business Partner for PPPs in
the sector of Biomass/Waste-to-Energy (BTE) shall undertake the responsibility of
designing, building, owning and operating Solena Bio Power plants through each WSA
National Consortium and its PPP framework, on the territory of each of its 22
Participating Member States. Each standard Solena Bio-Power plant shall produce
approximately 40 MW of Green Electricity from a feedstock of 500 tons per day of
biomass or refuse derived fuel.
The WSA, a 22 Member States strong Intergovernmental Organization (IGO) in
support of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), develops Public-
Private Partnership (PPP) Programmes and Projects at the international and national
levels, to create income generating business activities, such as Bio-Power Plants and
other infrastructure projects, in order to finance, implement and sustain extracurricular
youth training & educational Programmes and Youth Sports Community Centers
(WSAYSCC) on the territory of its Member States.
